30 Days of Thanks- Day 5

Today I am thankful for the time I get to spend with my cousins. 
Today I got to babysit my two youngest cousins and we had a blast together. We ran errands then went out to lunch together (along with my dad). 
The short amount of time that we were together today made me realize that I don't spend enough time with any of my cousin, especially the younger ones. There are so many of us and we're all spread out that it makes it difficult to, but I need to try harder. 
Spending time with them today also brought back some memories from when I was younger. Us older cousins used to spend what seemed like every summer together at my grandparents. 
I'm lucky enough to have those memories.
 One day, I hope I'm just as lucky to be able to look back and have amazing memories with the younger cousins as I do with the ones my age.

The month of September is a very emotional month for family and for myself. September brings birthdays, wedding anniversaries, cornfest, and anniversaries of the passing of my Grandpa and Grandma. Just as anyone else would say about their own grandparents, my Grandma and Grandpa were two of the greatest people I have ever known. They were full of love for each other and full of love for everyone else. Words can not begin to explain how much we miss them both each and every day. Dear Future Me,

Dear future me, There are so many questions I want to ask you! There are so many things I want to know about you! Did you graduate college yet? Have you gotten married? Have you had kids? Where do you live? Do you work? If so, where? Did you ever figure out how to do winged eyeliner without looking like a total mess? 30 Days of Thanks- Day 25

Today I am thankful that I was able to start Thanksgiving dinner prep.  We were able to make pumpkin pie, crust-less pumpkin pie, cheesecake and the cheesecake topping.   We were also able to put together the relish tray and chop the vegetables that we need for tomorrow.  Having the time today to get some stuff done for tomorrows dinner comes in handy because it is less we have to run around and do tomorrow.  It's also helpful because we were able to make sure we didn't forget anything for Thanksgiving dinner.
